PLASTIC TO FABRIC
Post-Consumer PET bottles are collected and sorted by type and color.
The containers are stripped of their labels and caps, washed and crushed, then chopped into flake.
The flakes are melted and made into consistently shaped pellets. Renew Fibres are made from extrusion of plastic
The pellets undergo a second melting process and are extruded to make fibre. The fibre is crimped, cut, drawn, stretched, then baled (packaged for shipping).
The baled fibre can be processed into fabric for a variety of textile products and uses eco-friendly printing.
